Today I’m introducing The Timeless Millennial, and I’m so excited about it!
After discussing this blog with a business mentor of mine, I decided it is time to give my brand a facelift. You may notice some changes on my blog, like a new logo (thanks Bri at The Buzz Brand!) and color palette, that include The Timeless Millennial branding. You can also now use the URL thetimelessmillennial.com to get to my blog.
Why The Timeless Millennial?
When looking at this blog and brand I’m cultivating I wanted to give my readers a clear picture of who I am and what my content will cover. The Timeless Millennial allows me to do that. I think there’s something ironic about the phrase, which I like, and it makes sense whether talking about fashion, faith, health or decor.
My hope is that this place on the internet is a place where you can get a breath of fresh air. I love dressing and decorating and eating at fun places, and there’s nothing wrong with sharing that. But, I want to continue to go deeper than cute shoes or a new OKC restaurant. I want to share the goodness of Christ in the highs and lows of life because eternity is near and the things of this world will vanish.
You may be reading this and thinking of a dream you want to pursue. This is me saying to go for it. I’m still figuring out this journey and wondering where it will take me, but I know that whether I succeed or fail (still haven’t figured out how I will measure success here) I will have been so happy that I went as far as I did.
One of the cool things about being a millennial is that we are pursuing unconventional dreams more than any other generation before us has. I don’t know about you, but seeing others break down barriers and try new things motivates me to do the same!
I’m a shameless lover of the Real Housewives franchise. On the show recently, Erika Girardi talked about pursuing her dreams as a performer and businesswoman. She said that she is in a phase of like where she wants to do everything today. There is no waiting for tomorrow because the opportunity may be gone. I really like her work ethic and self-confidence, so this really resonated with me. Whatever you want to do, let’s do it today.
So today, The Timeless Millennial is launched. I hope you enjoy!
