The mission of The Timeless Millennial is to empower women to cultivate a timeless lifestyle that pursues the heart of God.
Hi I’m Holly, and I am thrilled to meet you!
When I began high school in 2009, I started my first blog. I’d always been a writer, but my work was confined to the pages of my private journals. I discovered the platform of a blog, way before blogging was the industry it is now, and I’ve been hooked ever since. My first blog was an online diary where I wrote about what happened when I hung out with friends on a Friday night, my faith and getting my braces off (I know). Little did I know that this hobby would soon become one of my life’s greatest passions, joys and challenges.
For years I posted on my blog when I had something specific to say about life as a high schooler or about my walk with Jesus Christ. It was a mix of fun and serious, and I didn’t even let anyone know about it for a very long time. Blogging has grown with me, and I am the person I am today because of it.
As a sophomore in college, I was sitting in a business public relations class at the University of Oklahoma listening to a professional snowboarder turned marketing professional talk about pursuing your passion. One of his biggest tips was to create a personal brand by buying a domain name and creating a personal website. Later that day I bought HollyHoehner.com.
As college ended, I transitioned from a teen blog to a lifestyle, faith and travel blog. In October 2017, I launched the fashion portion of my lifestyle blog with the addition of professionally photographed content. In my first full-time job out of college working in public relations, I met someone I consider a career mentor. I worked with him to define my vision for my blog, which was called Holly Hoehner: A Lifestyle Blog at the time. Through collaboration we came up with The Timeless Millennial.
The Timeless Millennial is me and my readers. We are millennial women unlike the rest–classics among the trends. We value modesty, simplicity and femininity in fashion, decor and beauty. We are always learning and growing as women because we serve and are shaped by an eternal God–Jesus Christ. I enjoy sharing my Christian faith, lifestyle, fashion, decor, beauty and my Oklahoma City adventures every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday on The Timeless Millennial.
I graduated with distinction from the University of Oklahoma in May 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in public relations with a minor in communication. I am a proud member of Pi Beta Phi (ring ching!), as well as a born-and-raised Sooner fan and Oklahoman. I come from a family of small business owners, so my passion to pursue my passion is genetic. Currently, I work at a top marketing agency in Oklahoma City.
Those who know me know I enjoy sweet tea, classic clothing, good manners, picking up new hobbies, spending time with my very closest friends, reading, a nice glass of champagne, waffles, my family, witty people, shopping, 80s music and iced coffee. I’m a self-proclaimed music and movie lover, but nothing beats a great hardcover book. I’m passionate about anti-aging skin care, ice cream and sleeping. You’ll find Aerosmith, Fleetwood Mac and One Direction playing in my car and guilty pleasure TV on my screen. Helping young women develop a positive self-image is one of my passions. I’m a proud ENJF … and a lover of personality quizzes.
My hope is that when you visit my blog you leave inspired and encouraged to live a fulfilling and timeless life. Everything I do is to bring my readers closer to knowing the love of Christ that has changed my life.
