Free morning this morning means shopping.
Cara and I went to shop around at all of the British shops before our meeting this afternoon. We got slightly lost on our way there, but all in all I think we did pretty well. I got a few things and I just enjoyed having free time this morning. We only had about two hours to do all of our damage, so afterwards we were so hungry. We ran into a Shake Shack and nothing has ever satisfied my hunger more than that burger, fries and shake. The service was also really great and it just topped off a really great morning of shopping.
Our meeting today was at the Guardian and we talked with a sports journalist who works football (soccer) and the Olympics. It was really close to our flats, so a few of us came back and went to Nando’s again. Nando’s. How do I explain Nando’s? First of all, it’s very delicious. It’s peri peri chicken and sides. I may cry when I leave because that means no more Nando’s. You guys. If you go to London, GO TO NANDO’S. DO IT FOR ME. We sat in Nando’s for a while just talking and laughing. These are my favorite memories from the trip–being with the other students and spending time together.
We came back from Nando’s and just chilled. We watched Britain’s Got Talent (they have little talent) and I tried to watch Notting Hill before I go there (hi Mom) and we bought Wicked tickets. Today was pretty calm by trip standards, but it was nice. I’m excited to sleep and have a later call time tomorrow. My battery needs a little bit of a recharge.
Shopping tied with Nando’s
