I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite parts about the holidays is all the festivities that go on. There’s always a reason to have a party or dinner this time of year, so today I want to share some fabulous and affordable hostess gifts. Next time you’re invited to friendsgiving or a holiday party with your church group, show up with one of these gifts to tell the hostess “thanks.” I can assure you, it will mean a lot! One of my best, best friends is the queen of hostess gifts, so I always ask myself, “what would she bring?” That always helps me pick a gift the hostess, or guest of honor, would love.
One tip I can share is to keep a gift closet with a few hostess gifts. Black Friday or holiday sales are great for stocking up for the next year, even. As long as it’s nothing that can spoil or go bad. After all, you never know when a last-minute event will pop up and you need a quick gift! Buy some gift bags and little cards that can be used for any occasion and you can quickly pull together a very thoughtful gift for the hostess. Some other great gifts? Baked goods or flowers! Bonus points if you make the hostess’ favorite dessert or bring her favorite flowers in a gorgeous vase.
Check out my recommendations above and let me know the BEST hostess gift you’ve ever received. I’m always looking for ideas!
