Oh boy! Today we’re following up my Valentine’s Day gift guide for girls by talking about gifts to get the man in your life this Valentine’s Day. I feel like shopping for guys is rather challenging until you know them pretty well. So, if you just started dating, this gift guide might really help you out!
I really like a lot of men’s apparel–I have even been known to wear it sometimes myself! It’s hard to pick a favorite item on this gift guide, but I think my top are this shirt, this toiletry bag (tartan!!) and this suit. There’s something effortless about a lot of men’s apparel and these pieces represent that.
I think for guys who are looking to step up their fashion game yet don’t like shopping, it is key to find a few places that you can get quality items. Every season, you can get online and order a few things or just hit those stores in the mall! Some of my favorite brands that carry classic men’s clothing are L.L. Bean, Ralph Lauren, Brooks Brothers, J.Crew, Vineyard Vines and Patagonia.
For this Valentine’s Day, maybe you’re looking for something to get your guy that isn’t necessarily a material item! You could get tickets to an NBA game for the two of you, take him to play a new golf course and ride along in the cart, go to a new brewery in your city or pack his favorite foods and go for a hike.
Like I said in my last Valentine’s Day gift guide, shopping for a gift not long after Christmas is a little difficult. This is the perfect time to gift some more expensive things that will be used in the spring or to gift experiences. If you know your guy well, you’ll probably have a better idea of what he would want, but hopefully I was able to spark an idea! Happy shopping, love birds!
