I don’t know that I’ll truly be able to communicate my feelings about college until a few months have passed. Right now I’m still in Norman with my friends in my house that gives away no mention of the impending move next week. If I try to think past this Saturday, I truly can’t picture what life will be like post-grad.
I’ll just keep it simple.
Thank you, OU, not for what you offered me, because you weren’t perfect, but for being the vessel that brought me relationships that I will cherish forever. Thank you for introducing me to the best people, the most challenging people, the most Christ-like people and the funniest people I have ever met. I will never forget the South Oval in the fall or standing on a football field looking up at 86,000 people or the buzz on campus right before Spring Break or OU/Texas. And I will definitely never forget the goodness of the Lord’s plan for me in this place.
