Hello, friends! I am back from my Spring Break vacation! That flew by and it doesn’t feel like I missed a whole week of blogging. But I’m excited to be back and share some cool news with you today.
Do you guys remember this post from almost a year ago? Check out number 43.
Have you looked?
Yep, on my list of things I want from life is to go to the Masters. In a few short weeks, that dream will become a reality. I’m going to the Masters!!! I’ll get to travel back in time at Augusta National where $1.50 sandwiches and a cell phone ban frame some of the greatest golfers in the world at the most immaculate venue.
To say I’m excited about experiencing this for the first and probably only time is an understatement. My dad, brother and I will be trekking Augusta National with thousands of others. If Tiger can keep it up, we might get to see the continued revival of one of the greatest golfers of all time.
Golf isn’t the only thing I’m excited to see at the Masters. I can’t wait to see all the ladies golf fashion out in full swing (no pun intended). I know I’ll see everything from Lilly and heels to sneakers and tennis skirts. I haven’t quite figured out how I will approach an event where everyone will be in a classic and preppy uniform. It’s like I’m going to be with my people and I don’t want to mess it up!
I’m thinking of dressing for a cool morning and a warm evening. Comfy shoes are a MUST. Because I’m still figuring out what to bring, I’ve been playing around with several options. I know it’s a little early to be thinking about it, but if I procrastinate it will be too late to get an online order in! Regardless of what I wear, I know I’ll have a fantastic time exploring Augusta and buying all the merchandise I can. It will be a historic weekend, in more ways than one!
