KQF is such a good big and BFF. She let me halo her at the Pi Phi alum club event she planned at Commonplace Books this month.
Listening: I got on a Frank Sinatra kick this month and I have been looooving it. I just downloaded a premade playlist on Apple Music and some of my faves are That’s Life, I’ll Be Seeing You, The Way You Look Tonight, Too Marvelous For Words, Fly Me to the Moon and Lucky Be a Lady. I spent some time pursuing iTunes for new music as well. Havana by Camila Cabello is a fun jam for anyone longing for Spring Break, For Once In My Life by Michael Bublé is just good music period and the new Justin Timberlake album is actually pretty catchy! I like Filthy, Supplies and Higher Higher. I re-downloaded a bunch of ABBA. I used to love them, but I got rid of them at some point. Dancing Queen is such a jam!! Then my favorite song all month has been Paradise by Coldplay, for reasons you’ll see later on in this post. What a song. You wanna talk music that makes you feel something … That’ll do it.
Watching: I got into a few episodes of 90210 this month. According to Google, the first season stinks but I can’t skip to the second season and miss major character development!! I fell off of Mad Men from last month, so 90210 is my new trial show for February. I hope the fashion gets better as the seasons go on … It started in 2008, and the fashion is pretty bad. I’ve been really loving Bravo lately. I hate that I do, but I can’t help it. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills just are so entertaining, petty and fabulous.
Posting: The blog had TONS of great posts on it this month! Some of my favorites are linked below for you to check out!

Wearing: I got this a-line puffer coat this month and have been LOVING it! I’m bummed I got it so close to spring, but I’m happy to have it in my closet for many winters to come. It’s so puffy (obvi) and light, but extremely warm! I wore the heck out of my grey J.Crew Chateau coat and loved that it was a bit of a longer coat, so it made this sale purchase a no-brainer! For reference, I’m wearing a small but could easily do an extra small.
Obsessing: I really got into the figure skating this Olympics and, specifically, the ice dancing. The brother sister American team made up of Maia and Alex Shibutani were my favorite athletes of the games. When I saw their free dance for the first time during the team event I legitimately got teary. It was so beautiful and I’ve literally rewatched it nineteen times. They skated to Paradise by Coldplay, thus making me fall in love with that song all over again. I’ll link the performance that solidified their individual bronze medal here! They skate so well together and I like that they don’t skate as a romantic couple, because hello that wouldn’t work. They show emotion and platonic love in other ways as skaters. It’s really moving. They also have a YouTube channel and vlog what it’s like to be super talented athletes that fly around the world so the time. Their channel is here! I’ve binged all their videos since the Olympics because I just like them as humans. They really are best friends and both have a great sense of humor. I’m obsessed, but hopefully in a sweet and not-at-all stalker way… (Someone tell Alex to call me.)
Eating: I shared the beginning of my OKC Food Guide this month! You can check out my restaurant guide here and my cocktail guide here! You can also follow my Guide to OKC board on Pinterest to stay up to date with where I’m eating almost as it’s happening. I also share my favorite spots on Instagram stories!
Reading: This month I’ve been working my way through Still Me by Jojo Moyes. It’s really enjoyable and easy to read. I probably go through a dozen or so pages every few nights to wind down before bed. It’s a substantial read for a novel, so I’m interested to see how it will continue to develop. The next book I’m going to read is The Light We Lost by Jill Santopolo and I’m excited to get started!
Shopping: I started a bit of my Spring Break shopping this month! A few pieces like this one and this one were on my list for a while (remember this post about buying things I shouldn’t?). Then I went to Banana Republic with my parents to shop for my dad, but ended up walking away with a pink gingham top like this one and this white one.
