Ahhhhh jewelry. Like any girl, I love jewelry. I wear it every single day because I think it completes every look. The final touch! Over the years, the jewelry “look” I wear everyday has been pretty much the same. However, the actual pieces have changed. I’ve added or swapped one necklace for the next. I have found I change my necklaces, especially, with my stage of life. In high school, I wore a silver monogram necklace. In college, I wore my gold arrow from Stella & Dot (ring ching!!!). Post-grad, I’ve been wearing the necklace in today’s post.
This current line up has been my go to for about a year now. One of the pieces is even nearly 90 years old (!!!). I don’t anticipate changing or adding to these pieces for a long time. But, if you have any pieces you want to share or think I would like, leave a comment below!
Tory Burch logo pearl studs: I love pearl studs, but I have a hard time finding studs that are nickel free because I’m allergic to nickel. Real pearls are pricey and I can’t wear cheap nickel ones, but these Tory Burch earrings run right down the middle price-wise. I like the gold detail of the logo, the size is perfect and they look good with literally everything.
Bezel necklace: I think this gold necklace is gorgeous, especially for being cubic zirconia. One day, I want to get a real diamond. For now, this one does the trick! It’s so small and dainty, but still adds a lot to every look. It’s classic, yet still modern.
Pink ring: I’ve had this ring since I was in eighth grade and I’ve worn it literally every single day since. It was a gift from my parents. I love the pop of pink, which I definitely get from my mom. She has pink and purple stone rings that are absolutely gorgeous. I once briefly thought about getting a Yurman ring to replace this one, but I just couldn’t do it! I love it too much to give into the trend of wearing a lot of Yurman. One is good for me!
True Love Waits ring: Coming from a small Christian high school it was common for girls, especially, to wear “purity rings” on their ring finger. I don’t wear this ring to make a statement to anyone, but I’ve worn it for years and have simply never stopped. I like the way it looks and wears on my finger, so I will be genuinely sad when I don’t get to wear it anymore. Something better will probably take it’s place, so I’m sure I’ll get over that fast!
Gold crest ring: My maternal grandmother, Nana, gave me this ring that belonged to, I think, my great grandmother. I can’t remember if it’s one great or two. But this ring was her high school class ring, which is what the crest stands for. When Nana first gave it to me, I didn’t think it would fit any of my fingers, but luckily it fits my pinky perfectly! I’m truly honored that she gave it to me, however I am her only granddaughter so she didn’t have a choice! It’s so special to have with me everyday and I will cherish it until I can pass it down someday.
David Yurman pearl bracelet: My parents gave this bracelet to me as a high school graduation gift and I love it so so SO much. I always say that I’m lucky that if my house was burning down (too soon?), I wouldn’t have to worry about grabbing this bracelet because I’m already wearing it! It is my favorite Yurman piece in the entire line and I don’t think that will ever change. I love the simplicity of one bracelet and how it features gold, silver and pearl.
How it (almost) all works together!
